little stinker

Jboy went in his room & shut the door. There's nothing in there that can hurt him, so I didn't think much of it a first. After several minutes I went to check it out. The door was locked. Oh dear. I asked him to unlock the door & this is what I found when I went in. He had emptied every drawer in his dresser. I'm a scrapbooker & blogger, so of course I had to take a picture. He thought he'd been quite funny. Me? Not so much.

who says you need pants to dance?

One of Jboy's favorite movies is Hairspray. He knows the words to all of the songs & can even "do" some of the dances. His favorite song in the movie is "Ladies Choice". This evening we were watching & as usual he started dancing and I managed to capture it on video. For your viewing pleasure...

Because I don't want to be disowned

I was reprimanded by both parents this evening for the lack of pictures of a small red headed boy. So, in order to make amends, here are a some pics from a few weeks ago. This is a sight that can be seen any day, any time around here. Jboy & cars. Who knew that my bedroom floor was also a race track?

fun day!

It's only 1:30p and we've already had a full day of fun! This morning our mommies group had a tour of the firehouse. When we left this morning Jboy kept asking where we were going, but I just told him it was a surprise. He was so excited when I finally told him what we were going to do.

We watched a Fire Safety video {that had Lindsay Lohan in it!} and went out into the garage to see the truck. Unfortunately the big truck was out on a call, but we did get to see the smaller one. I liked how they showed the kids the fireman (whose name was also Jonathan & was having a birthday today!} before he put on all his gear & then let them watch him put it all on. A couple of the kids were scared, but Jboy just walked right up to him.

It was only 11:00a when the firehouse tour ended so we went to the park. The weather has been gorgeous lately. Fall is definitely in the air & I couldn't be happier about it.

As I knew he would, Jboy crashed in the car on the way home. Meeting fireman & playing at the park wears a boy out!
