While trying to decide what to write about the passing of 2008 & anticipation of 2009, I went back & read last year's "New Year's" post.
I talked about some of the goals I had for the new year, and sadly, I think I can pretty much just copy & paste that post here. It seems that out of the four things that I listed, I've really only made any progress in one area... and as of the past few months haven't been doing too great in that either. That area being my weight loss journey. I'm still making strides, though I have a lot yet to learn.
So, I think that instead of trying to come up with new goals, I need to re-focus on the ones I had last year.
Each year, Ali Edwards challenges her readers to choose a word for the new year that will be their "motto" of sorts. I've been having trouble deciding on a word this year. But, while writing this post it hit me.... PROGRESS. I sort of feel I've been standing still this year & haven't made progress in several areas in my life. As is evidenced by my needing to "copy & paste" my goals from last year.
I want to move forward. Now I just need to make a plan on how to make progress in these areas and implement that plan.
Do you have a word for 2009? Do you have goals (or resolutions) that you want to achieve? What are they? How do you plan to make it happen?

Progress is a great word for 2009 goals. It covers so much.
